Hi there. I had a similar prob recently with some phals I rescued from my friend. They were origionally planted in sphagnum moss. I repotted in bark, cut off all the manky roots and soaked the bark in water before I repotted. I think the problem was the plants were too wet, yellow leaves and rotten roots indicated this. Once they were repotted I didnt water at all to encourage new roots for 2 weeks. Then I lightly misted every other day for about a week. Then I just watered about once a week. After about a month they looked a lot happier and were producing new little roots. None of the plants had keikis but 2 had flower spikes which I just left as they were. Good luck.
