Yes, I understand. The cattleyas that are planted in the 50:50 mix get watered once a week. Whereas the ones planted in 100% hydroton are watered every other day, but that is a excess, they would also do good if watered once a week, its just that the gardeners are watering the Paphs and Phals planted in hydroton thrice a week and they don't bother skipping my Catts LOL.
