Tolumnia Genting Pink and Tolumnia Sniffen in bloom

Here are 3 of my Tolumnias in bloom. In my previous posts on tolumnias I stated that they do well in small open pots(like those slatted plastic for vandas) or even better mounted. I used to have high mortality rate for my tolumnias until someone suggested this method. Now they are all doing quite well.

The two pink ones are different varieties of Tolu Genting Pink and the yellow is Tolu Sniffen

Yew, Those are really ALL beautiful! I have mine in charcoal, inside slated clay pots. They only get a sprinkle of water once weekly. Seems that they're doing O.K. since they are re-blooming on the old flower stems. After seeing yours, I might try mounting them...Thanks for the lovely tolumnia display... Betty

Wow, Yew Sung, those are great looking orchid blooms! I am a total Tolumnia killer. I had two really nice ones and they just did not like my 'care' for them. Nice growing sir!!

Thanks everyone for looking in. They are so perfect for growers with limited space. When they are well grown they puy up a spectacular show. And the colours........

Tolumnia are fabulous plants! I had two succumb to bugs one winter. But they had thrived for two years and bloomed constantly. I keep saying I need to get a few new ones for my driftwood. Seeing your pics reminds me I should go pick up a couple. They are truly fun plants to grow.

Very nice, Yew! I admit to being envious -- I can grow them but have the hardest time trying to bloom them. (And I know they're getting plenty of light -- the foliage has a red cast)
