I bought one of these cute & colorful orchids at the Orchid Show here this weekend.
It is in a tiny clay pot (1.5 inches, I think) with small bark media. 4 fans, and loads of healthy-looking air roots.
What I think I know is that they want to be watered often, but to drain freely & dry out. The media does dry out quickly. I am watering it every other day...should that be more or less often?
Also, the oldest fan is in the center of the pot, and the newest right up against/on the edge. When it finishes blooming, should I repot in a larger pot? Or put it back in this pot, with the oldest fan against the pot, and the newest in the middle...which should give it room to grow maybe 2 more fans? I am thinking that this probably does best either mounted or if in pots, in tiny ones??
Advice?
