    If it helps Ladybird I absolutely concur with Betty's advice. I had a phalaenopsis that looked worse than yours and had very little root left and its doing just fine now (with this exact same treatment) with lots of new roots and two new leaves . It takes a good few months to recover, but these phals. can be pretty tough. I also wanted to tell you what a fine grow area you had set up. Its attractive and very functional. Good Luck! AL
