paint them!
Last week at the Grand Rapids show, my watercolor of an Orange Masd. garnered a blue ribbon. This is a hobby of mine, combined with another hobby of mine. The colors are not quite the same as the actual painting, but close enough.

Very nice, Don!
Well done, Don! Congratulations on the blue ribbon for your orchid painting too! I love to paint and need to get back into that. We have a show coming up here in March that I would like to enter some orchid painting into and see how they fare. You have inspired me to get to work.
Cheers,

Nice work!
Where did you learn to paint like this?
Wow that is a beauty !! I also like painting, I should try my hand at this ! Thank you very much for the inspiration.
I really enjoy watercolor. Oil is also fun and colored pencil is very intriguing. I get motivated whenever our show chairman reminds me there is a show and I need to input new paintings. We really do need motivation. Also, another great motivation is if we would share our works here...........cmon guys, I have more to show - if you will too!
Nice work, Don! Congrats on the blue ribbon!
