Soterosanthus shepheardii

Native to South America previously was put under Sievekingia because the spike growing upwards later was separated as it is. This is non spotted plain green yellow color similar like Sivekingia the flowers may last up to 4 to 5 days need to share with you of this beauties.

Zain, you have quite a range of varying orchids. All shapes, colors, and sizes. This orchid proves how far you seem to reach out in your pursuit of the unusual and exotic from all over the world. The only conditions you seem to place on your collection is of course will it grow and bloom under your conditions. Al

Thanks AL actually I love a lots of South America species especially belongs to Fan shape orchids somehow there are from intermediate to warm environment they can grow here but difficult to bloom usually I buy them by chance if they can bloom I would considered bonus for myself.Zain

Thanks Jordan definitely is not Catasetum although it's has some feature of Catasetum but it's not

yes, i know its not a catasetum, but it has a vague similarity. Is it a close relative? i should have said that in the previous post (oops!)

It's ok is not at all but very close to Stanhopeinae rather than Catasetinae, the psedobulb very smooth and seldom exceed more than 2 inches.
