Blooms are around 1 1/2", with one secondary branch. Looks like I can expect more branching later, as this is a first blooming. Incidentally, if you noticed some pink creeping into the white background on the sides of the lip, that is not a trick of the camera; it's actually there, and I think it's pretty cool. The plant is maybe 4" tall. I only have a couple Tolumnia, and I can't take responsibility for this blooming (got it in spike). They're neat little guys though. Think I might pick up a couple more, when given the opportunity.

That doesn't quite add up, so I must've done the math wrong somewhere, but I don't want to bother redoing it. But there you go, approximately at least.
Just goes to show you; if you're not bewildered and possibly bored, I haven't finished answering the question. But I, at the very least, found this interesting.
I nodded off somewhere after the second cross.......
How cool is this... our local orc soc had a guest speaker who deflasked a Tolumnia flask... and they weren't very big and then he said they don't grow much more than that.. e.g the flask was an honey jar and the biggest plant touched the top... so little beauties...
One thing about Tolumnia's is that when you do a cross, say a red flower with a white flower, the babies will come out red, white, pink, orange, yellow.. dots and splashes etc etc... crazy huh!
Anyways, love the skirt on this one Sue.
Cheers
Tim
Oh, Sue!!! I don't have this one. You know how I can't resist these!!!!
