Is there an easy fragrant orchid?

For us beginners, at least speaking for myself, just having the orchid come home and LIVE is incredibly exciting. BUT, I'm also addicted to the scent of magnolias that we have here in Atlanta and I was wondering: Are there any obvious, common, easy, fragrant orchids out there? I didn't even spot one in the Botanical Gardens Exhibit.....

A good one is Oncidium Sharry Baby. They call it the chocolate orchid. To me it doesn't smell much like chocolate, but it does smell very good.

Exactly what I was going to post. And they adapt very well to S/H, which makes them even easier to grow.

Maxillaria tenuifolia grows like a weed, flowers easily and smells like coconut. Brassavola nodosa is easy to find and easy to grow if you have good light, and has fantastic fragrance in the evening.

Editing in another fragrant weed: Prosthechea (Encyclia) radiata.

My easiest bloomers are the phalaenopsis dendrobiums and mid-size or compact cattleyas. Even when a dendrobium looks dead, I throw it under a bench because three times out of four i'll go back in a month or two and find keikeis growing off them. Even with complete root rot they can come back.

Thanks for the input on fragrant orchids - I'm a little overwhelmed.

Does anyone know of any particular types that might be easily available around Atlanta and smell like either gardenias or citrus?

Lots of questions, I know - maybe someday I'll be able to offer some answers!

Most cattelyas are fragrant, and easily available everywhere.
