    Wow. How cool. They do like great. Wish they had that here in Holland, and such a cheap price. I sure could not have walked by without buying any.

    Hi Willeke. At the current Philippine peso conversion rate, I think you could have bought the entire bunch without much of a dent on your budget.

    Maybe vandas are cheaper here because many are native to the Philippines, so this is their natural habitat. Makes them so easy to grow. It also helps that there are no big vanda growers in Cotabato that export their produce. They aren't organized either into big trading groups. Some have small nurseries, or are just backyard orchid gardeners. In other cities in the Philippines, vandas are not that cheap at all.
