    Yea, but if your going to show it, it will lose points, and can also transmit disease and pests.

    not if it is boiled and dried, and I suppose you could tie a bow if it is for a show, for aestetic purposes.

    LOL yea, i suppose so...But the NZ judges are VERY picky. I had this massive phal (70 blooms in total on one spike) that wasnt put in the running for grand champ because i had used a bark that was 'too red' - red because it came from an old redwood on my friends farm, and EVERYONE knows what colour redwood bark is!.
