    Default Ancistrochilus rothschildianus

    Species from Africa a sympodial epiphytic plant with conical or pyriform pseudobulb, deciduous and long lasting flowers. Hope you all like it.

    Love the cool lip on this orchid. It reminds me of the shoes I saw in India in a small town local market where we stopped. They had that big curve on the toe end of the shoe. haha...

    Great color too. What does the plant look like? I see what looks like a single leaf growing up from the center of the pot? Huge blooms on this spike.

    Another beauty. If memory serves me right these grow from bulbs and have two leaves ????

    Thanks Bruce, the pseudobulb carry 2 broad lanceolate, loses leaves before it comes into flower, that one just the leave stump.
