Love the flowers, hate the new name. (I actually like the muted colors/subtle colors found in some varieties of Iwanagara.)

This is definitely one of those changes that strikes me as monumentally stupid. Iwanagara was already an artifical genus name to begin with. So rather than confuse people, it would have made more sense just to update the names of the plants that constitute Iwanagara instead of renaming it. Looks more like some taxonomist just wanted to get his name on something.

I totally agree...this change made no sense at all to me.

That's really nice. Never saw a yellow form before.

Wonder why the name was changed. I thought the genus was already named after the person that created it. Now a different person? Can't keep up. Pretty soon there will 6 billion genus, I guess.
