I am in the midst of deflasking a miniature phal hybrid and came across some strange growths. Instead of roots, the clumps have these thick bumpy nodes (look kind of like old hoya bloom spurs). Either they are still protocorms or some sort of deformity. If I were at all equipped to replate I might try that, but this is only my second time deflasking.
I am putting my seedlings into sphagnum. Will these grow at all if I pot them up?
I might have waited to deflask at all except the agar was pretty mixed up from shipping and there was one clear bully in the bunch that needed to come out.
