I decided it was time to deflask. They had consumed most of the agar and were large enough. Nine compots all togetherI need lots more space. Three are from flasks that were given to me (2 species, 1 hybrid) and the other 6 are my crosses.

Tell us more, Jeff. What are the parents? (of both crosses?) What are you expecting from them? Thanks & I wish you good luck with them...Betty :-)
Sorry... Compot?
And looks great jeff!!
The species given to me are Rhyncholaelia digbyana and Cattleya skinneri v. coerulea. The cross given to me is Momilani Rainbow x Mari's Melody. My cross I won't reveal till I see what the blooms look like. One parent is...
Crossed to another spot at one of my OS meetings. She had 2 clones of the same plant. One with great spotting and one with nice flower shape. We did a cross from each clone. She has the opposite cross. Of course looking for spots but wanting to reduce plant size a bit.
Congrats. The compots look great!
cheers,
