Hi,

I have a Cochleanthes, and it is sending up many new buds. The trouble is, the first one dried up and fell off before it got a chance to open. It dried up right where the bud meets the stem, and nowhere else. Has anyone seen this type of thing before? I just got the plant a few months ago and it was in bloom when I bought it. It looks great, other than the dried up buds. It's making new roots, etc. Do you think the plant could just be stressed out by the move? Should I fertilize more? I haven't done a whole lot. I water with pure RO.
