    Default Gongora histrionica with Seven Spikes

    I know I have already posted a photo showing two spikes on this Gongora, but I noticed today five more spikes emerging to keep the twins company. They won't all bloom out at the same time and the two original spikes are showing spots in the buds and color on there 2 1/2 foot spikes. I have never had seven spikes of anything.................orchids, hair, etc. Can someone tell me if this is common with Gongora's?, or maybe I just got lucky! If anyone really wants a new photo or two I will do that, but the newbies are small and short still. AL

    Then by all means, Al - when those spikes are larger - post the photos. Cannot wait to see this orchid in full bloom.

    AL its common on this genera meaning your technique/ media is suitable for this species, they really love your environment.Looking forward the photo.
