Excellent, Ron. This one is new to me.
Great capture! Your right about the foliage, has the necro (jurassic) fern likeness going on. Infact My first impression was this with trichoglottis/ dendrobium like bald canes. Cant spot the bloom in first pic but an incredible little beauty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!a bonus to the foliage!!!!, how long till the bulbo close by rewards you with its profferings, is that a spike??????
ah! yes can see the little beauty now, actually quite obvious after its been pointed out. Additionally i thought your analogy of 'dried up' rang a bit of de-ja vous with a likeness in observation to my Dend. Wallisii, these thin- like characteristic canes are quite decieving which supports the advice even more in the care recommendation 'dont cut bare canes'! Attempting to sus the scale of a 3-4mm flower in a communal planted setting is what encouraged me to analyze the background hence the guess at the bulbo. The architectural form and shape of foliage still a winner though with the vertebrae (spinal) column likeness. Very inspirational photo!
