Actually, it is growing by the south facing bay-window for the whole winter with few other really warm growers. In winter, this window gets direct sunlight for hours..., It grows and blooms outside in the yard(under the trees) as well. It is a slow grower but it blooms often(two or three times a year) once it is matured...
I used to grow a lot more hybrid Vandas and Cattleya(in a gh) before I moved...yes, you do need some warmth and good light for Renanthera. The only other Renanthera I have is the citrina.

For all the south Florida sun and heat I find them changeling. But I like that.
Your plant is excellent.
