This is its third rebloom and this time the flower has increased in size to 5 inches across and 3 inches vertically. However the colour is lighter than its last blooming, due probably to increased light level in the grow area. ( Geoff, the Dorsetman, has remarked on the influence of light on paph colour in 2 of his posts).
There have been differing opinions on whether this is a hirsutissimum or whether it should be esquirolei, a separate species by itself. I'll take the coward's way out and tag it Paph hirsutissimum var esquirolei. BTW the stem is purplish in colour, a characteristic of esquirolei.
