Thats an impressive collection of orchids on your balcony!! My orchids are outside now on my balcony aswel because the weather in Holland allows it again, but I don't cone any near your orchid jungle!! Well done!

Your orchids seem to like the unorganized, unorthodox approach Shane. I swear that there are some orchids that would learn to cling to your arms if you kept them still long enough. Nice retreat. Tell me do you share your beer with your orchid buddies? AL

mine prefer the occasional splash of jim beam and diet coke... but my beer swilling friends tend to "share" lots of beer with my plants!

it really works well... i ran out of room pretty much and figured, why not!?! the bulbos have been lovin it on the sides of those baskets!

I remember once when I went to our National Park in Pahang, I was looking through the visitors' book at the Park HQ and have always remembered this remark from one of our local visitors " Just like home". I can hear your orchids saying the same thing!!!!

ok, so i finally broke down and paid for a flik account so i have lots of space for pictures... i've never really tried to do a full sweep of my growing space so i thought i would give it a go today... i was a bit busy and didnt do the best job with the pics (im blaming poor light conditions) ...so here i go... i guess i'll add them in batches... only the orchids... yall feel free to pass judgement on some of my highly unorthodox and irresponsible plantings...

If this is irresponsible handling......i would want to be irresponsible just to have those beauts smiling at me. hehehhehhee....great job. That's the beauty of orchids you can almost tuck them anywhere and would just surprise you one day that they like it there and thrive.
