Phal Cat's Paw Cream

This is Phal. Cat's Paw Cream (Taipei Gold x Crystal Veil). It's really a very pale, delicate shade of chartreuse, which I had a little trouble with on my camera. These photos make it look a little more lemony than it really is.

You know how one orchid is never enough???? With these phals at an incredible price whenever I go into my local grocery store, I'm a goner. Phillip says I have to stop. There are still several colors I don't have - and I'm waiting for a few more catts and paphs to open, so.... what do y'all think?

I used to have one years ago! You'll be very happy with it, it loves to throw spikes. Mine was mint green.

Only problem I had with it was that it was 3n and unusable for breeding.

Thanks, Julie - at least I don't plan to breed it, so the 3N is okay - I suppose that's one reason the flowers are so big, beautiful and plentiful. "Mint green" with "lemon sherbet" is really the color it is - more green on the backs of the blooms. I'm already very fond of it.

Very pretty, and i'm a sucker for those phals you find in the grocery stores as well. It's tough to go past a table of gorgeous orchids without taking at least one home!
