catasetum cirrhaeoides 'claro'

second spike, my catasetums here usually seldom flowers during the dormant phase, in fact i think this is the first time for me.
the last pic here is the comparison of the 'claro' and the catasetum Chong Keng Yong i posted two days ago

have u ever seen a Catasetum flower simultaneously as the new growth emerges?? kinda like a cyrtopodium lolol....they do some strange things

yes, not mine though. this usually happens in large clump specimens with multiple growths.

makes sense as the stored energy within the older plump pseudobulbs would help feed that flower spike hmm
