    Default Encyclia granitica, from Brazil

    Me and Encyclia granitica, know this amazing orchid that blooms once a year, with green flowers and smell pleasant. This is Enciclya me for more than 06 six years.

    Orchid of large size, which I have is about 80 cm and produces flower stalks with more than 40 flowers about 3cm.

    yesss finally after much research i found out the real name...a plant was labelled as "ionosma" but the owner wasnt sure and after researching i found it to be wrong...then i thought it was "oncidiiodes' which was close....then the owner remembered "selligera" after many months...now im sure its a synonym of
    'granitica'...plants are in bloom now...once a year...very fragrant and robust...insects love the blooms...despite having 15 spikes on one plant...one was good enough to send to the Barbados Orchid show which will be this weekend
