First time blooms for this one too. I hope the blooms get better over the years. My collections is getting into its second and third year so things are blooming for the first time and hopefully even more will bloom next year.

I love large, light pinkish/purplish or lilac, ribbon-like, classic Cattleyas. The soft-colored flowers are so feminine and graceful. It's hard to find in my place. Most available are Blc or that rounded bold colored hybrid Cattleyas.

I may be in the Philippines for work soon, hope I get to see some of the orchid offerings there.
