You too, Connie! And lovely flowers.![]()
Happy 4th July Connie.Beautiful blooming tribute
I'm so relieved this isn't some dyed red, white and blue monstrosity.
Hahahaa!!! That made me laugh out loud!!!
A beautiful blooming Catt... so appropriate for the 4th, too! Just out of curiosity, what is it that you have this plant potted in? Is it a coconut shell? A glass orb? It's difficult to tell, but I must say I LOVE the presentation. I'm starting to get a bit bored with my "orchids in pots, pots, and more pots" situation I've got going on over here. I'd love some more creative ways to present them!
Lovely growing!And happy 4th!!
Beautiful cattleya, Connie. Happy 4th!
cheers,

Super nice!
It is potted in one of those wire baskets with a coco-fiber type liner. I zoomed in on the flowers to hide the old side of the plant that looks awful. I had to really hit this one with bug killer stuff to kill a bad infestation. If you use these baskets watch carefully for fungus and bugs. I spray this baskets' plant as well as the liner for bugs and with my physan. Otherwise the basket liner is too thick. Since this plant was done this way, I now tear the liners into thinner strips before I use them in the wire baskets. It just works better for the roots.

Wow! That is gorgeous appropriate name for it too...
