2013 FWCOS - Show and Sale Pictures
The Florida West Coast Orchid Societies yearly sale was at a new location this year. There were no signs at intersections to advertise the sale. There were no signs showing where the sale was located. And once we got to the Largo Cultural Center, the doors were locked and I was not able to get in early. I did not have enough to have time to get pictures of the awarded plants let alone the sale plant areas before the crowds began making it impossible for me to move in my chair. Hopefully next year will go smoother. I was very hurried in taking pictures so many aren't as nice as I would like. I tried to go into a few and enlarge certain areas so the rarer plants weren't skipped over even if the pictures weren't the best. I tried to take pictures of the sale plants but gave up because of the crowds. I literally went to one sale table, picked out two plants that I liked and before I could pay for them I was so surrounded by the crowds I couldn't move my wheelchair at all. I had to have help getting out of the sale table area so I could leave! I am going to call and make sure I can get in early next year. That was unreal!! lol Anywho...here are the pictures and I apologize for the poor quality on some of them. I still got quite a few, so as usual this will take me a ton of posts to get them all in.
