visitor to my garden

not sure i posted this in the right thread but i found this little guy in my garden, estimated about three feet long.
i had no idea what species of snake is this and does not seem poisonous. is it?

just found a google hit,,,,, Chrysopelea paradise, paradise tree snake, mildly venomous. gosh....i touched the tail just to have the first feel of touching a wild snake. haha ...

Rounded heads: not poisonous and triangular: is poisonous. Just a guide for the next snake encounter. This ones kinda in between maybe thats why its only kinda poisonous .

thanks for the tips. another one to keep in mind other than the previous one i learn that rhymes like this "red on black venom lack, red and yellow kill a fellow which tells us to differentiate between the non venomous scarlet king snake and the venomous coral snake.

I've heard that saying before only different. Red on black friend of Jack. Red on yellow kill a fellow. It can be useful I suppose if you are willing to get close enough to find out.

very true, the last time i googled it,.,,there is many different version.

that's one of those flying snakes. flying snakes. ugh! pretty thing though.
