I grabbed my trichocentrum out of the heavy pot I sit it in so it can't fall over, to run it under the faucet as it seemed dry to me. As I turned on the water I noticed I had a small visitor in the pot. I picked it up by a spike to take pics and ended up dropping it when mr snake decided to start coming out of the pot. lol No screams, just lots of pic's this time. Does anyone know what kind this little guy is?? He was maybe six or seven inches long and thin.
In the second pic you can see the underside has orange spots. His little face was looking at me behind the root...lol. The round eyes tell me he shouldn't be a bad one...but I can't find the id for him online this time.

that I live in a snake free ( to the most part ) country. Although... we do get the mean type of centipedes, ....hummmmm let's see if I had to choose; Snakes? Centipedes? Snakes? Centipedes? Rock and a hard place, ok I'll be over here in the fetal position in the corner of the sofa.
hahah... Yes, he appears to be a rat snake. Probably looking for some bugs to snack on.
