Still wonder what exactly happened there but oh well, will be EVEN more careful about cold water and all that. Orchids are really not as complicated as I expected from all my friend's crying over them so yey!

Weather here had gone from REALLY sunny and hot to cold and rain for a few days (welcome to Vancouver right?) so I'm guessing that had something to do with it... so continues my love/hate relationship with this massive south window - ALL THE GROWING THINGS but free indoor climate change at its finest.
PS don't worry, no plant children except my roomie's succulents are in firing (sometimes literally) range of that window!
