Hi folks,
Just noticed my Zygopetalum has spots/patches.
Is this getting too much sun (on my East window) or some infection?
I mist them with a sprayer couple of times a day, I just read Zygopetalum dont like that.

It may be from misting, but to me it actually looks it could be several things:
1. Burn from minerals in your water maybe? Although that usually occurs towards the tips of the leaves...
2. Maybe systemic fungus from the media around the roots? Check the roots, how are they?
If you're misting everyday, and they don't have enough air movement, you could be creating an environment for fungus/mold/bacteria to grow.
I agree with Becky. It doesn't look like sunburn to me, either. Maybe using a pebble tray rather than misting would work better for this orchid? Good luck with it.

my single Zygopetalum is also like that... but I guess they are hard to keep non-spotted I think...
