    Interesting to see it with the Viola for scale. Hopefully the beginning of a good clump in a few years.

    I just bought some cypripediums and one of them is parviflorum. Can I ask you what mind of soil mix did you use for it in your garden??

    I just use regular soil, but it really like good drainage: "The soils are predominantly sand with only small amounts of organic matter; they are not organic-rich."
    I also put some mulch on top of the soil for weed and winter purpose.
