    That spike looks fine Wildcat, I love Phalaenopsis species and hybrids. I prefer not to stake the flower stems I like it grow naturally, looks a lot better to me, the blooms last so long.

    That Rlc Yen Surprise is a beauty Wolf and good luck with your Dendrobium orchid, I find some of them tricky to grow but once their happy they take off 😀

    Like yourself, Wendell, I have trouble with some of them (Dendrobium's) also. Perhaps I would be better off if someone told me it had a different name - for me, a lot of it is in my head....if I lose my confidence in my ability to grow something, I tend to avoid it in the future (for instance, if I purchased a plant that died in four or five days, it might not have been my fault, but if I think it is, then I will avoid it.). Like golf, much of it is mental and emotional....your belief in yourself and what you think you can or cannot do.
