Got this last December, it takes forever for the flower to come out, I first saw buds over a month ago. I have another bulb growing that I hope will give me another chance for more flowers later.

That's a beauty Jack!
I sure hope mine blooms this summer.

Do you have many spots on the foliage?
Mine has some but I don't worry over it.
Harvey,
I hope yours will finally bloom for you also as this one is a beauty! I have put this on my back porch in front of my kitchen window so that each time I go into the kitchen I will see it.
Thanks
Jack
Hi Jack congratulations for the blooms so beautiful I like it so much wow..... just small correction yours is not negrensis but looks more toward G. fimbriata.
Here is the link for negrensis.

Zain,
Just went outside to check tag and it does say negrensis, I am going to send an email to the nursery I purchased it from with a picture and ask, will get back to you.
Jack
AWESOME! Looks like a bird trying to perch Or seen a prey and about to catch it.
Wicked!
Very attractive.
I have received a reply from the grower;
"Hi Jack,
Yes, somehow (tags must have been switched) you do have Galeottia grandiflora or fimbriata (they both look the same) I am sorry about that! Please let me know if you would rather have the Glta. negrensis, as I only have a few left.
Yes, it is really cool looking!
Happy Spring!
Sheri"
Now to decide what it is I have as the two that she mentioned are extremely close to each other.
Jack
Hi Jack as I told you yours is fimbriata based on the lip and look at my grandiflora here.

I suggest to you better take negrensis from Sheri this is not not that easy plant to get I'm still looking for fimbriata apparently very difficult to get here.
Zain,
I replied to her email to save me one before I posted her answer on this thread.
