I have not posted pictures recently as I have been mostly taking pictures of birds ( playing with the new toy, the 200-500mm Nikkor zoom lens ) and also because there are no newer orchids to photograph. However, to assure Jack (JDT) and others that I do still take pictures of my orchids now and then, I'm posting pictures of my Cycnodes Jumbo Micky which is blooming at the moment with 2 spikes bearing 8 and 12 flowers respectively. The flowers are quite large for catasetinae measuring 3 inches ( 8 cm) across. I bought this plant last year in bloom with 1 spike. But the current blooms are borne on the new pseudobulb that grew in my care:
I hope to post some pictures of a couple of paphios when the blooms show, as they are spiking now.
