Harvey, I thought that as well, but was determined, so I picked up a few (as tetraspis C-1 variety) from an Asian vendor that came to the SEPOS show a couple of years back. I sold most of them, and the one I kept did "just OK" for me until I moved to NC and set it outside.

It has been getting lows in the mid- to upper seventies at a minimum, and daytime temps in the mid- to upper eighties (occasionally into the nineties), with very high humidity, and is thriving.

Conclusion: this one is a "hot" grower like bellina, now "warm" like most phals.
