According to my info’. This is the most common form seen in the wild. It is the dark form ( most frequently seen in cultivation) which is the rarity. And that is a very unusual situation.
Actually, all forms are rarely seen in Europe now, and this applies to pretty well all the Mexican and central American orchids. I don’t know why. It isnot just Cites and bureaucracy, since traders from Taiwan, Thailand and China seem to cope with that. Maybe there is no orchid trade in Those places themselves ?
