I have found them inland, but the colors seem more vibrant at the beach. May just be the contrast to the white sand. They do seem to prefer marshy or damp areas.Originally Posted by Piper
There are many flowers that are happy at the beach. Standing cypress is another one of my beach favorites. This pic (not real clear) was taken at Ft. Pickens in the National Seashore. The plants are about 3 feet tall.
