Well, why do people always associate mainly Vanda with high light? There are many Cattleya alliance species/hybrids that need as much or even more. Rhyncholaelia digbyana doesn’t bloom if it doesn’t get enough light. The same applies to C aclandiae and walkeriana, for instance.
