The spike is just over a foot tall. Blooming just higher than the leaves. It is a fairly new plant in my collection and I am growing it intermediate. I understand that it fairly temp tolerant from cool to warm growing. I am not one to be capable of describing scents accurately...but it was earthy and pleasent. I got 2 of them this fall, the other has very highly variegated leaves, it doesn't look like that one will bloom this year.
