Sorry that I have yet to reply to this thread, but I have just now found it. One of the best books for information on schomburgkias that I know of is The Cattleyas and Their Relatives Volume III i.e. Schomburgkia, Sophronitis, and Other South American Genera. Written by Carl L. Withner. This is the only book that I know of that is really written on or about schombs, and in full detail. There really isn't anywhere on the web that I can recommend, or know of. This book has been indespensable. Also where do you live in FL? That will give me a better idea of the natural environment around you. Also, depending on where you are I can recommend a good grower to get some schombs from. Also just let me know what you would like some pictures of, and I will be more then happy to provide them.
