Here are a few orchid I got as a gift!

1 pic Cymbidium from Croatia
2 pic Huge Phal also from Croatia
3 pic Oncidium from Croatia, this plant have no roots, they are dead because are dried on a road from Croatia to Montenegro...
4 pic This is Miltonia that is also half dead, I'm trying to revive it. Is there anything I can do to make her survive? This plant has dried too much!

1 pic is some orchid... i don't know what specie is this. Woman wich gave it to me think this is Lycaste, but I don't. Can you tell me what specie is this? This plant have bulbs and this on the pic are 2 shots from old and dried bulbs. It have very thin leaves, and plant is also weak. I will try to keep it alive.. Any suggestions?

2 pic is Dendrobium cutting which had roots, and I'm quite sure that it will survive!

Me too! It looks reallz strange because it have leaves only from one side, but I can see that it's very healthy!

It looks like the oncidium is making new growth, so I think it will live. The miltonia looks like it has suffered quite a bit. Keep it in a shade area, a bit humid to reduce water loss, and look for new growths and new root growth. Once you see them, repot the plant. If not, well, there are many other orchids that are worth your time!

BTW, the picture of the "lycaste" is not clear from that angle. If you have another picture at a different angle, it might give us better clue.

I have checked roots of Miltonia, and they are in excellent condition. Pot is full of them. Just the green part of the plant is not good. I don't think that it will survive, but who knows? Maybe it will make new shots...

Look... One of pseudobulbs on Czmbidium is drzing... Is this normal?

Most of the outdoor grown cymbidiums I've seen are a ratty mess. Old backbulbs lose their leaves and this is quite normal.

Hmm... On the other forum people told me that this is from overwatering? I don't know what to think now...

Do Cymb. need to dry between waterings?
