First time mounting my orchids.

thank you Bob,yes i like to expand my collection but winter still the key.i'm waiting the season will be over soon so i can move my plants outside./Kitty

for watering the plants,i soak all the mount(only the root part) in the bucket of water that mix with root hormone.am i doing the lazy way or the right thing or not/kitty

the next project in my mine is mounting all vanda to the post that fill up with cement in the pot or bucket .the display looks really nice also

Great job Kitty. Love your mounts and the grow area. I'm mounting a lot of my orchids no - the only problem is trying to find more durable wood suitable to our climate. Recently I managed to obtain some odd pieces of teak and I'm confident these would be durable enough. Fern logs are excellent mounts but really hard to come by.

thank you Kathi,you're my model about Vanda.last 2 days i've got 2 baskets of Blue vanda but one lost the bud from shipping that makde me to cry. so i have to wait for next season.
