First time mounting my orchids.

As you know i'm the over watering person.so i deside to give a try for mounting,remind me when i was a child.i collected the orchid from the tree in rice field and mount it on mango tree,split them and they're doing well.

but from that experience it still difference from the climate here.i love how beautiful display from the hanging and one more reason i don't have space in green house (i have about 45 pots of orchids now)

thank you Naoki and Zain.i hope they'll came out nicely but in the night i need to move them inside the green house because in the night the temp drop to 30 big different from the day.a little work for me but to be sure that my plants is o.k /Kitty

I enjoy watching roots crawl over mounts. It really is the ideal way to grow them if you have the time and humidity for it.

I actually have crappy humidity but mounts still do well for me. Just have to water every day or every other day. And it is awesome watching the roots go crazy.

thank you again Bruce,one more thing my sick Catts still looking good i saw a green eyes coming out but the root still not show up but over all they're o.k. till now i switch my mix to hydroton clay.i know what is dry side now and hope my all plants get use too soon,too early to tell cause i've just repot them for one week./Kitty

i agree with you Jonada.it's awesome to see how the root grow.you make me confidence with the mounting.a little work for watering but i'm happy to do that./kitty
