This is a crude attempt at a collage from a recent trip to Selby Gardens. I am thinking of entering it in a photo contest. Tell me what you think?
It seems a little big to post so it's a bit squished!![]()

I really like the collage, but I think some of the individual pictures are actually better on their own.
Like for example the picture of the pitcher plants. You posted it alone awhile back and I thought it was quite good. The mirrored crane/heron is also quite striking and the perspective of the paph in the top left corner is also very interesting.
My 2 cents would be let some of those speak for themselves. Plus, I just love the pitcher plant pic!
I like it , the only thing I don't care for is the sharp square picture of the orange slipper next to the Buddha . I think another single yellow Catt. bloom like the other one would look good just my thoughts . I think it is beautiful .. Gin
Some very nice pics -- I particularly like the one of the tree roots.(Wish I was talented enough to make a miniaturized version for my terrs! That would look incredibly cool, IMO.) I don't know how much work it would be but I think I would prefer it if all the pics didn't have such regular/straight/sharp edges.
I agree. The sharpness of the square shapes takes away from the beauty of the plants. If your foto program allows you to edit then I would definitely try to reshape some of the fotos. The colors are striking and you did an excellent job arranging it. My favorite is the trees in the middle. I don't know why, except that it is my idea of what Fl. used to be and I long for the "Good Ole Days"

It's very busy. Are you making a paper version of this or is it digital? With a digital photo collage, you could use your photo or paint program to soften and blend some of those hard edges. i would look for a circular flower to echo the one near the bottom right on the bottom left. (Did that make sense?)
I agree with softening up the edges and squaring up some of the pics especially the catt in the left side. It has good subjects and placement.

I agree with all of the comments. I do need to get some shape going on, and I will also enter 2 single photos. But I may have to do away with this idea altogther.
