Wow!!!!!!!! I'm speechless. What a fantastic setup for growing orchids. I love the fence area.
Your Vanda pics are beautiful. I especially like the dark purple/blue ones.
Vandas have become an obsession with me. I had several a couple of years ago,on my covered deck, until a wind storm came along....they ended up smashed, in my neighbors yard. I could only rescue 3 plants. I have started to replace some of them. I grow in my basement under lights with a pipe rack to hang them from. Oh how I wish I could grow them like you are able to do. Michigan is not the place to grow vandas outside.
Thanks for posting all those fantastic pictures. I love them.
WOW is right! That is a beautiful vanda. Ithe color.
Cheers,

Thanks. Here in S. Florida they grow great outdoors, I take them indoors if the temp falls below 55 F, but that only happens 2 or 3 times a year for a couple of days. I can't imagine growing and flowering these plants in a basement, that must take a lot of skill and attention. My Vandas seem to love plenty of light, humidity and air movement.
