I think they are absolutely fascinating flowers! Good growing.
Beautiful, but stinky! Did you ever wonder why they smell so bad? Any ideas? Is it to keep bugs away or to draw them in so they get pollinated. Just wondering.
It is definitely to do with pollination, apparently these plants are pollinated by small flies. Of course, not all Bulbos stink...the one I posted earlier Bulbophyllum lasiochilum, actually smells wonderful, like raspberries!!
Anyone else have any idea on why some of these smell soooooooo bad and others so good?

That would be Peanut, one of the forum mascots. She's done a number of 'photo shoots' which have been displayed on this forum. Probably one of her most 'artistic' would be her "Jurasic Park" series. This link should work:
