Phal Bellina (violacea var.borneo) pregnant

This is my pride and joy, I really have no idea what the shape is going to be, as I bought it as a bellina var. borneo but you know how things go with nurseries that have an online shop, sometimes you end up with sth completely different!
I'm posting some pics showing the slow progress of the spike of the plant I bought last summer as a medium seedling.
1. The spike became visible January 19th, this is February 3rd. Not much had changed!
2. Spike growing March 26th
3,4. Bud forming April 25th
This is probably one of the first bellinas grown successfully in greece, so give me some credit!
During the week that passed I observed the color setting in the bud, and I'm quite happy to notice that only the sepals are darker so far. I'm going to post new pics when there's significant progress.

Great progression shots! I hope you keep taking the photos as it matures and blooms. Maybe you will consider writing a short article for the article library on your care of this particular orchid and its progression to bloom. I am happy to help if needed!

Do you know which of the P. Violecea have the white stripe on the edge of the leaf? It has some speckling in the color of the leaf...it's all Violecia, I'm just wondering which one as it isn't in bloom and the only info the tag had was P. Violecea.
If a pic would help.....if it looks a little rough it was at the back of a greenhouse in a very neglected section of absolutely antique phals. My huge one came from that back neglected corner as well. I'm guessing they are yellowed from too much sun. They weren't in the best location.....

CJ, I'm thinking that your violacea is the more common malayan one. The plant has very light green leaves by nature, but tends to get those yellow sunburn markings when left in a position with too much light. I'm not familiar with a violacea with variegated leaves, I'm thinking it's sth else, it looks like it's having a hard tim and showing it.
