    Default Encyclia Randii x sib.

    Okay, my purple foliage Encyclia randii finally popped open and here he is:



    The plant as it was in spike a week ago:



    I just love the foliage on this plant. So excited to see the bloom but I need to take a shot in brighter light this weekend when more blooms are open.

    Update:

    Now in full bloom..has a pleasant faint scent.



    I keep watching for new growth on this one. I really want it to thrive for me.
