A couple unknown flowers

I was wondering if anyone could id these two. The first was planted by seed; this one was the only one not pulled up, mistaken for weeds, my sweetie pulled the rest!





The second is this tiny wonderful little thing with hints of yellow at the ends of perfectly shaped petals....and it's growing out a hole from one of my orchid pots.

The second looks like a tiny fungus...(mushroom/toadstool)

Not sure about the first..but Kelly is right on the second..it's a "micro mushroom". These grow out of the pots that my Ficus are planted in as well and don't seem to harm the plant..

The first one is a daisy (in the aster family)...most likely in the genus Brachyscome, not sure of the species of that particular one or if it is a hybrid. Connie is the flower a pale pink?

Second one is a fungus, as others have stated and most likely the medium is breaking down and the plant is in need of repotting.

Okay...i'm growing fungus....i'm not sure that's good. Yes the first is pink, and aster sounds familiar.

The lacy foliage and pretty pink petals are that of a Cosmos. I love to just sprinkle Cosmos seed around my garden. Some are dwarf at about 15 inches high when they flower, others can reach 3 feet in height before flowering. Pink is not the only co9lor they have either.

The first one is probably a cosmos. These are flowering in my moms garden this year

The first one is a cosmos by the name of sea shells, can't help with the other one.

I like the cosmos flowers. I don't remember ever seeing them before. Nice.

Thank You! Now I can get some more just this time i'll grow them in a pot and hide them from "the weeder". lol
